FORMER CCHS TEACHER SENTENCED TO EIGHT-YEARS, VEHICULAR HOMICIDE

A former Cumberland County High School teacher has been sentenced to 8 years in prison in connection to a crash that claimed the life of a Morgan County man last year. On May 18, 2017, Meghan E. Wilson, 37, of Crossville, was driving southbound on Highway 127 in the Rinnie Community when her pickup truck hit a Harley Davidson head-on. The driver of the motorcycle, 46-year-old John V. Rowe, of Deer Lodge, died at the scene. Wilson was charged with vehicular homicide, DUI and Violation of Implied Consent. In court on Tuesday, Wilson pleaded guilty to Vehicular Homicide.
