FIRE MARSHAL GIVES APPROVAL FOR POPULAR NIGHT CLUB TO REOPEN AFTER SHUTDOWN

Tennessee-State-Fire-MarshalIt looked like a popular local night club was gone for awhile but round the clock work has given it a second chance. Mega Bites, a popular night club in Crossville shut down earlier this week by the State Fire Marshal’s office has announced they will reopen today.  According to the owners, several violations in electrical code left over from previous operators caused the closing.  The Fire Marshal pulled the electric meter for both JP Nascar and Mega Bites housed in the same structure until the problems could be corrected including a firewall failure between JP Nascar and Mega Bites.  Originally Mega Bites owners indicated they were going to have to move their business to a new location but since the shut-down they have satisfied the codes inspectors with repairing and correcting all violations.  Mega Bites says they will reopen today at 4pm
