This is one time we’re glad to publish ‘fake’ news.  Although it looked real.  It sounded real. But it wasn’t.  It was a mock DUI crash this morning in front of CCHS with hundreds of students watching.  All part of a drill, sponsored by the TAD center to demonstrate to the students the dangers of driving while under the influence. The drill is coordinated by Ruth Lucas with help from the Crossville Police, Fire Department, EMS  and the Life Force Helicopter along with CCHS Drama Club students playing the ‘victims’. This mock DUI crash was conducted ahead of prom night for both CCHS and Stone High School.  There will be a similar mock DUI crash conducted next Thursday at Stone. Prom night is Saturday night the 27th.
