DRIVE-THRU LIQUOR STORES APPROVED BY CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL

No longer will you have to get out of your car and go into a liquor store to get your spirits.  The Crossville City Council has approved drive-thru liquor store windows.  The state passed a law recently removing restrictions of drive-thru liquor sales and now the City has followed.  This will allow patrons to drive-thru and pick up liquor just like a drive-thru restaurant.  One liquor store is working on a plan to ‘deliver’ liquor to your house from your online order.  All this convenient liquor orders has some opponents and proponents.  The proponents take is that drive-thru and delivery on liquor will help keep DUI’S  down if the customer can ‘order’ their liquor to be delivered to them.  Others say it’s making purchasing liquor way too easy for consumers.
