A Mr. Paul Parsons found out fast – drinking and smoking is not allowed in a local church building – especially on a Monday.   Police were called to the B-53 Church in Woodmere Mall where they discovered Parsons in the building, unauthorized, drinking a beer and smoking a cigarette. Parsons told officers he didn’t think the owner would mind him stepping in the side door to have a smoke and a beer.  He had slipped into an unlocked side door on a Monday afternoon to get out of the weather he said.  The intruder was arrested and taken to jail.  Charge: Criminal trespassing.
