A strong line of powerful storms marched across Tennessee last night leaving a devastating trail of destruction in its wake. The hardest hit was Middle Tennessee where at least one fatality was reported in Rutherford County.  Several injuries were also reported in the area.  Tornado warnings were issued throughout the night as the storms raced from West to East overnight.  It was especially dangerous due to the timing of the storms.  Most people are asleep overnight and may not be aware of the impending danger.  Here are just a few images of the destruction left behind from the storms.
