25835243_BG1Accused murderer Stephanie Cole was in court today for a routine hearing.  Two witnesses were called before Judge Sam Benningfield from White county testifying as to what happened the night Louis Tammaro was shot to death.  Deputy Sean Scott testified that when he arrived at the Cole residence and was escorting her to the deputies cruiser she said she killed her boyfriend.  Special Agent Dan Friel with the TBI testified he found Tammaro’s body in a 42 gallon tote propped up on the step leading up to the back deck along with two pillows inside, one  with a bullet hole through it.  Friel went on to say there were two latex gloves and a trash bag in the tote.  Strangely, the gun believed to be the murder weapon was found at Cole’s neighbor Kim Smith’s house in a closet wrapped in a towel.    Deputy Scott testified that Smith told him she got the gun from Cole’s residence but no other explanation was given.  In court today Cole did not request bond and will continue to be held at Cumberland County Justice Center until the Grand Jury meets to hear more evidence in the case, possible September 8th.
