CUSTOMERS ARRESTED FOR ASSAULTING MC DONALD’S EMPLOYEE OVER MISTAKE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Authorities in Tennessee have arrested two people accused of assaulting McDonald’s workers over a mistake in their order.

WKRN-TV reports Anntronette McGlowan and Quincy Owens were charged Friday in Nashville.

A police report says McGlowan went through the drive-thru Tuesday and became upset when she didn’t get fries she ordered. The arrest affidavit says she parked her car and went inside with Owens.

McGlowan is accused of jumping over the counter and repeatedly hitting a juvenile worker. Owens is accused of pulling out a handgun and threatening the worker. Police say another employee who tried to break up the fight was also assaulted.

Detectives say the incident was captured on camera.

It’s unclear whether McGlowan or Owens have attorneys who could comment on their behalf.
