CUMBERLAND CO TEACHER-STAFF SURVEY UNFAVORABLE ON DIRECTORS PERFORMANCE

An in house survey on morale in the school system commissioned by the Cumberland County Board of Education was reviewed in last night’s meeting.  The survey was taken by about 700 teachers and staff out of 1,100.  Some did not take the survey reportedly out of fear it would not be confidential and the employees could see retaliation.  Of the questions pertaining to Ms. Graham specifically, only about 42 percent of the replies were favorable.  Graham’s contract has not been renewed for her term which expires in June of this year. The Board will start working on a search committee soon to replace Graham as Director of Schools.  Follow this link to see the survey results
