CROSSVILLE PREMATURE NEWBORN FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE, NEEDS BLOOD DONATIONS

CNF received this request today from a friend of the family newborn Broc Selby. Little Broc is in desperate need of more blood for transfusions.  You can donate at the MEDIC REGIONAL BLOOD CENTER on Main Street in Crossville across from the Palace Theater. They are open Tuesday – Friday 8:30 til 5pm CT.

Broc is O-Positive blood type, however – O-Negative is universal.  Here is the message we received:

Not sure where to start. My niece Brittany Brun who is from Crossville gave birth early at 25 weeks. Her son was born 12 inches long and weighted 1.5 pounds. He has had 3 blood transfusion already. He is 5 days old today and now weights 1.15 pounds. They need more people to give blood. If we could get everyone to support one of their own from Crossville and please go give blood. All they have to say is they are wanting to do a replacement Donation for Broc C. Brun- Selby at Children’s Hospital in Knoxville. He is looking at a very rough road ahead of him all the blood donations and prayers they can get would be amazing. The Children’s Hospital in Knoxville is very low on all types of blood at this time also. We have been told even if your blood doesn’t match you can still have it sent to Children’s Hospital in Knoxville upon request. Thank you for your time and please go donate. We appreciate all the support we have had so far.
