Fire trucks rushed to the Crossville Cracker Barrel this afternoon around 3pm when smoke filled the restaurant.  Customers were evacuated for a time while firemen assessed the situation. Turns out the problem was an electrical malfunction that fed the air conditioning units.  The malfunction in the electrical service to the store burned up the a/c units creating a lot of smoke inside the building.  The restaurant closed down for a short while until the electrical system could be repaired – although the A/C was completely shot.  The restaurant is back open now
