CNF has learned that morning radio personality Chris Cannon has ended his long running morning show on 105.7 ‘The Hog’ in Crossville. Cannon started his radio career at 105.7 FM in 2004.  He moved to the morning show in 2007.  Chris has the distinction of being one of the longest running on air DJ’s in local radio totaling 13 years. Cannon’s morning show has consistently won “Best Local Radio DJ” the past several years in the Chronicle’s  annual “Readers Choice” surveys.

No word on why Cannon decided to end his morning show but he did make a post on his Facebook page to his fans that reads:

WantWanted to let you all know, that I ended my tenure at my job last week… For the past 13 years, I’ve enjoyed so much… Your ups, downs, giggles, tears… We’ve laughed together, we’ve cried together, & on a few occasions, I made you make a snot-bubble from laughter lolol… THANK YOU for the #1 status for the past 7 years in-a-row!!! – The world is a big, exciting place, & maybe our paths shall cross again, but until then, hug your babies, tell them you love them, & treat people with the respect that leaves them knowing you’re a good soul
