MAN CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT IN STABBING
Crossville, Tennessee – On July 14, 2021, at approximately 8:15 p.m. Fairfield Glade Police Department officers responded to 105 Runnymeade Road for an assault with a possible stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to the abdomen and back. Officers recovered a knife in close proximity to the suspect inside the residence. The suspect was taken into custody and the scene was immediately secured. Cumberland County Sheriff’s Investigators responded to the scene and began conducting an investigation.
The suspect was identified as Louis Anderson, 56-year-old white male, from Crossville. The suspect was charged with Aggravated Assault and is being held at the Cumberland County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
The victim was airlifted to U.T. Medical Center by Lifestar and the medical condition is unknown as of the time of this press release. The investigation is ongoing and additional releases will be made as information becomes available.
