The body of a Harriman man was discovered Friday morning in Cumberland County. Authorities say employees of Rockwood Electric were traveling on Westel Road, near Mount Vernal Baptist Church, when they saw a body beside a parked car. The body, later identified as 50-year-old Philip Brock, was observed lying face down with a jacket over the head. A handgun was near Mr. Brock’s body. EMS confirmed the victim deceased. The case is being investigated by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department.
