ARCTIC BLAST TO BRING SUB-FREEZING TEMPS AND SNOW BY WEEKEND

StoryGet your long johns out – it’s about to get cold, very very cold.  Take a walk outside today and enjoy the nice weather for it’s about to turn frigid. An arctic blast of air will be slowly falling south all week long.  The first taste of the cold temps will arrive Thursday night into Friday morning, bottoming out at 22 degrees.  Then it gets worse.  The overnight lows will stay in the 20’s through next Tuesday when the morning temperature will be around 18 degrees.  Oh, and did we mention the snow?  Yes, it just doesn’t seem to make sense to have sub-freezing weather without some snow around. That happens starting early Sunday morning.  Precip will be turning to snow as the temps fall to around 30 Saturday night.
