AMBER ALERT ISSUED FOR TENNESSEE TEEN, LAST SEEN WITH SEX OFFENDER
An AMBER Alert has been activated for a Hawkins County girl.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation reports 14-year-old Hayleigh Wilson left her Surgoinsville home on Monday night.
She was last seen at a Walmart in Marion, North Carolina on Tuesday wearing a flowery top and in the company of 41-year-old Benjamin ‘Ben’ Shook, a registered sex offender out of Georgia.
Shook has several tattoos and was wearing a blue shirt, with “Ford” written on it, dark shorts, a camouflage baseball hat.
Investigators believe they may have been driving in a maroon colored 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac with Tennessee tag D6020D.
