A STORY OF TRAGEDY, STRIFE, PRAYER AND HOPE

A head-on crash last September had a long-lasting effect on a local woman and her child.  Jason Scholl of Pleasant Hill was driving on highway 70 west near Pleasant Hill when a driver going the opposite direction crossed over the line and crashed head-on into Jason’s pickup truck. Jason’s truck then flipped over down an embankment and burst into flames.  The 23-year-old perished in the flames. Jason was engaged to Bailey Myers of Pleasant Hill, who was pregnant with their child, at the time of Jason’s untimely and tragic death. Their child was due to be born this May of 2021 but has come much earlier.  Bailey gave birth to Jesse Jo by emergency C-Section this past Tuesday at Vanderbilt Medical Center.  The baby only weighs two-pounds fourteen ounces and will need to stay in the hospital for quite a while.  Jason worked at a sawmill in Sparta and Bailey was going to school to be a dental assistant. Little Jesse Jo is going to need a lot of medical attention and prayers. Bailey is still in virtual dental school and is struggling to cope with all that has happened.  Loss of her future husband and father of her child along with giving birth to a very premature child.  A gofundme account has been set up to help Bailey with her daily financial difficulties.  GOFUNDME: Baby JJ decided that she was going to make an early entrance into the world. Bailey was not at all prepared for this early entrance.  She has not yet had her baby shower,  Bailey is not finished with school and still has Dixie and bills that will continue to add up. Bailey had to have an emergency C-section and baby JJ will be in the hospital for quite some time.  Any help that Bailey can get is going to be very helpful and appreciated.  We are all praying for baby JJ and Bailey as well.  Thank you in advance for your help.
