3 men charged in White County murder

4053867_G 4053866_G 4053862_GThree men were indicted in connection to a homicide that occurred in White County earlier this year.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Joe Honaker, Jr., Jared Holmes, and Bart Kirby are each charged with one count of second degree murder and one count of especially aggravated assault in the death of John Shoemaker.

Shoemaker, 36, was found dead in a wooded area behind a car called My Place in Sparta Tennessee on April 10.

He died of multiple blunt force traumas.

Holmes, 27, was arrested at his place of employment while Kirby, 33, was arrested at his home.

Honaker, 31, was already being held in the White County jail on an unrelated probation violation.

All three men are remain in jail on $500,000 bond each.
