The Region Tournaments continued Saturday night and the Cumberland County High School Jets and Stone Memorial High School Panthers posted home wins.

At CCHS the Jets scored the games first 16 points and posted a 65-38 win over the Owls from Smith County. The Jets, winners of 14 straight games, are now 22 and 7 this season and will play Livingston Academy in the Region 4AA semifinals Tuesday at 6:00 at Tennessee Tech.

The Stone Memorial Panthers nailed a late free throw to break a 62 all tie and beat McMinn County 63-62 at SMHS. The Panthers are now 17 and 12 and have won five straight games. In the Region 3AAA semifinals Tuesday at 6:45, SMHS will face a familiar opponent, the Warren County Pioneers.

Monday both the Lady Panthers and Lady Jets take the court in Region semifinal games. At Rhea County the Lady Panthers will take on East Hamilton at 6:30 and at Tennessee Tech the Lady Jets battle the Tigerettes of Macon County at 6:00.
